

TEVETA, MetOut of Hungary and the Alliance for Vocational Education and Training (AVET) have signed an agreement for capacity building for trainers to improve the quality of skills in the country.
The partnership is meant to develop a relevant TEVET sector that produces a competitive workforce for economic transformation. The partnership also seeks to support Zambia in the hosting of WorldSkills Africa in Livingstone. Areas of support are towards:
1) the establishment of a Regional Centre of Excellence in TEVET
2) Develop IndustryTied Apprenticeship Programmes
3) Promote PublicPrivate Partnerships (PPPs)
4) Enhance Digital and Technological Integration in TEVET
5) Increasing Entrepreneurship and Innovation
6) Strengthen TEVET Institutional Capacity
7) Increase Awareness and Change Perceptions of TEVET
The support from MeOut Group and AVET is designed to maximise TEVET's impact, create long-term benefits, and reinforce global TEVET networks
