LUSAKA, October 12th 2022 – It has come to our attention that some illegal training institutions across the country are giving acceptance letters to unsuspecting youths to access bursary support from Constituency Development Funds (CDF).  These institutions are issuing acceptance letters on the pretext that they are dully registered with TEVETA which is not the case. Among the institutions include:

  1. Competent Training School
  2. Nitro Earth Moving Institute
  3. Pricca’s Earth Moving Institute
  4. Earth Heavy Duty and Hire
  5. Kitwe Institute of Heavy Duty
  6. Patience Pays Training Institute
  7. Musi-O-Tunya Training Institute and School of Technology
  8. God’s Faithfull Fruitful Ministries International (GFFMI)

Please note that any training the above institutions may be offering is illegal and the resultant qualifications that they award to anyone are null and void.

The public may also wish to know that the proprietors of the following institutions have been convicted by the courts of law for conducting training without registration:

  1. Pascal Operators Training Institute
  2. Kaprob Operators Training Institute
  3. Heavy Duty Operators Training Institute (HDOC) and
  4. Excavator Operators Training Institute

We urge the administrators of the CDF across the country to check the registration status of any institution they intend to send youths to under the CDF skills bursary. The list of registered institutions is available on the TEVETA website (www.teveta.org.zm), Facebook and on request via WhatsApp +260954590783, telephone +260211253331-4/253211 and email teveta@teveta.org.zm.

Please note that the list of registered institutions is updated every quarter.

All illegal training institutions uttering false documents purporting to be registered with us risk prosecution as doing so is against the law. Members of the public are encouraged to continue sharing with us any suspicious training activities happening in their areas.
