Government has awarded TEVET bursary to more than six thousand students in technical education and vocational training. Minister of Higher Education Dr. Brian Mushimba said all the applicants were awarded the scholarships. “All the 6,140 successful applicants for govt bursaries into vocational & colleges across the country have been awarded at various thresholds dictated by the vulnerability index. Government is committed to making education accessible and is walking the talk. Congrats to the awarded!” said the Minister.

TEVETA in the second quarter of 2019 signed contracts with ten companies worth K14.4 million to train their staff to enhance their employability and productivity. More than 2, 400 employees benefited from the training in various skills areas. The employees have been trained by training institutions registered with TEVETA. A total of 155 training contracts were signed with the ten companies. The employees were from water, mining, hydro generation, automobile and manufacturing sectors. The training was meant to sharpen skills and knowledge of employees in line with changing production processes and technological advancements. 2018 APRIL & AUGUST CERTIFICATES

Certificates for April and August 2018 Examination diets are ready for collection. Training institutions should ensure the collect the certificates from our offices as we do not deliver the respective institutions.

Students are required to collect them from their respective institutions and NOT from us. Students can contact their institutions to find out if they have collected them already before they travel.

The printing process of December 2018 certificates is still ongoing.You will be informed as soon as they are ready for collection.
